QUIC
About QUIC
The transport protocol Google began deploying inside HTTPS in 2013 and brought to the IETF, published as RFC 9000 in 2021. QUIC runs over UDP, folds in TLS 1.3 encryption, combines handshakes and survives network changes. It is the foundation of HTTP/3, which most major sites now serve.
