WebAuthn
About WebAuthn
Web Authentication lets browsers log users in with public key credentials stored in security keys or platform authenticators instead of passwords. Paired with the FIDO2 client to authenticator protocol, it resists phishing by binding credentials to a single origin. Apple, Google and Microsoft have built it into all major platforms, making it the base of the passkey push.
