About DVB-T
The Digital Video Broadcasting project standard for terrestrial digital television, first published in 1997 and launched in the United Kingdom in 1998. It carried standard and high definition channels to antennas, later upgraded as DVB-T2 with better efficiency, and the DVB family serves most of the world television markets.
