About ITU-T T.30 Fax
The ITU recommendation that defines the handshake of Group 3 fax over telephone lines. It negotiated page size, transmission speed and error correction between machines. Though largely historic, facsimile remains legally embedded in health care and some courts, keeping the 1980 protocol alive.
